Nothing new to see here

A quick bullet point list of good and bad's about the game:

Good:
- Improved graphics
- Great outdoor landscapes
- You can freely choose between various approaches to each battle in a non-linear fashion. Freedom! :D
- The various battle scenes are varied and well laid out so you need to master the full range of skills to succeed.
- Darker and more serious story (well, I enjoyed that at least).
- Space battles! (Although feels more like a rushed minigame than a serious extension of the war into space).

Bad:
- Your AI companions are timid idiots who contribute little despite having unlimited ammo and health.
- No master chief, replacement characters are generic and boring.
- The story is totally meh. I just skipped past half of them in the middle.
- New elements like shield, character customization and jetpack does not really add anything useful.
- The jetpack, which should be the most fun new element, works for just a few seconds at a time and is just a good tool for making an easy target of yourself.

All in all a worthy successor to the previous Halo titles. If you got bored with Halo already then this wont refresh your appetite though, it is for the hardcore fans who can never get enough.
