While still highly overrated, this is the Halo to play!

The problem with Halo 1 and especially 2 was it's lack of personality and heart. Halo 3 fixes a lot of beef I had with the game.

I hated Halo 2's story. It was too confusing and it pandered far too much to Halo's hardcore audience that does nothing but invest their time on their Halo. The goal seems clear to me here. Finish the fight. A fight has been going on between the Prophets and the Spartan and even Covenant for a while now. The war is about to end though and the Covenant Arbiter and Master Chief team up.

Halo 3 looks amazing. It's the most colorful shooter I have ever played in my life and the custom options for your colorful covenant or spartan is out of this world awesome. The detail in the guns is incredible and the overall atmosphere of Halo 3 is astonishing. It really feels like a complete game, every inch of it detailed to the finest.

Like any fan would expect, this game sounds beautiful and yet powerful. Everything you hear in this game sounds so stellar and eloquent. It's grade A stuff; stuff you just don't hear in most games. I feel like more time was put into the games audio than the actual game itself. The covenant are back to insult master chief! Some of the things they say are hilarious, almost as hilarious as their battle cry after shooting them to their death with two sub machine guns.

Bungie crammed Halo 3 with all sorts of goodies for fans, and casual fans alike. Such as forge mode, a mode that allows you to re-arrange the items and objects on a multiplayer stage. You can also add things such as new vehicles and weapons to really make what you want out of any stage in the game. If you're not into that, maybe you would enjoy four player co-op with three other friends! That's right, in Halo 3 you can play the entire campaign with three buddies.

Halo 3 is the definitive console FPS package, and is a must own for anyone with a 360.
