Okay, I just finished the game, say... 30 minutes ago, and I must say It's well worth buying for two reasons.First xbox live play is awesome, even though the time it takes to get from one game to the next is a bit much, and as of yet I have not found a way to stay in a good game. Meaning if I am in a game with some good players and I would like to continue playing with them, not possible. That really gets depressing from time to time when you play with shady to poor players. Second, the story is fantastic. Far and beyond the first Halo. The graphics in the game are good, but not as good as I had hoped... plus with all the running and spinning around to kill what's shooting you, you don't have the opprotunity to just sit and examine things. The cut scenes which I have read from some of the other people either took away from the gamming or didn't have anything to do with it... well that's just... non sence. The cut sences are the only part where you do have a good chance to look at things, plus the help move the story along. My only problem here, is it seems the polygonal pop up and correction of polygons seems to be high, and it's an eye sore. The gameplay was fantastic. Some of the new weapons and the duel wilding option add a lot to the single player modes as well as Multiplayer. **Spoiler** Playing as a covenent soldier, an elite guard, is fun and here in adds so much more to the story then I thought would be here. I just could stop playing because I wanted to see what each character was going to do next. The last thing about gameplay I would say is that this is different from the first one in story and in some of the style in which you have to play to move from area to area. I really enjoyed this game, much more than the first one. Not so much in that the game style had changed, but in the fact the story just keeps you going. I am ready for the next Halo... and yes I will be in-line at midnight for it. *** SO... this is a great game for gameplay... AND STORY... it's a great great story, more so than many RPG'S that I have had the unfortunet pleasure of playing recently. SO... go out... buy.. rent whatever. Get xbox live... and have fun. Simple, Good, Wholesom Fun, With Alien guts and stuff.
