The true marvel of this game is the enemies AI , i won't even start on what the soldiers and and monster can do . Their probably smarter than most of those who play this . Working together as a team , commando will easily hunt down and slay Gordan Freeman . Alien monsters hunt by site sound and smell . But with the excellent smooth game play , and a crowbar you should be able to guide Gordan through the black mesa research facility . The sound is a little fuzzy , but all the various creature noises are extremely menacing , and listening to commando talk on their comms' and trying to make out what they are saying all adds to the experience . Even if it was a little dated already when it launched on PS2 , it's still a classic gamer shouldn't miss .
Half-Life hit the Playstation 2 in 2001 and gaming was at least for me changed after I played this game. This is a fantastic game one of the first games to be on the PS2 and one that no one will ever forget. Just an awes... Read Full Review
