I was expecting more out of Gunstar Superheroes than just a remake of the original, but it still is just as fun as the original. There are several downsides to this version however, mainly there being no 2-player mode (the best part of the game), no customizing your choice of weapon, you can't jump off the walls of the screen, you can't throw people, and it being kind of short. It might be just me, but I felt this one was shorter than the original, and I still play the original from time to time. However, the bosses are still as tacky and crazy as ever (in a good way!), the game play is still the same fun with smashing up and shooting all those enemies, and I love how they even kept how there is really cheap ways to beat the enemies and bosses. Also the improvement in graphics is great; even though you're basically playing the same game, it feels like a whole new game just by watching the graphics alone. I would recommend this game to both new and old players of Gunstars; if you haven't experienced it yet you're missing out! And if you have, you'll love all the reminiscing you'll be doing playing this game.
