A worthy start of an amazing series.

Guitar Hero is an all-around good game. The graphics are great. The sound is off the hook. The controls (provided you are using the guitar controller) are perfectly fit for the game. The game has something close to 50 songs to shred, so you are set for the day. The bad thing is that the game ends faster than you might think. If you've played II or III then you already know that this game is incredibly easy from start to finish. Easy on Guitar Hero III is what Expert is here, just with the blue and orange buttons in play. The games graphics are great and may remind you of those exaggerating cartoons where circles are ovals. In the game, you will have 10 characters to choose from (two of which need to be unlocked/bought from the Guitar Shop). If you play on Easy, you won't get any money, so go with Hard or Expert. Well, if you want to get into Guitar Hero, this is the place to start. Check out my reviews for II and III if you want info on them.
