I bought Guitar Hero a couple months ago and I gotta say I had a great time. The songs, the atmosphere, the game...everything was great. I'm still playing it now.
The Good:
Practically everything. It's a fun game and never (really) gets old and it's not one of those games where you leave it in the corner and completely forget about it. You want to come back for more and you leave with (some sort) more when your done. It's not hard until you get to the later songs and the harder difficulties (Hard and Expert). I've only so far mastered Easy and Medium, and trying to get the hang of Hard (which I haven't yet)...I cashed out a good $100 for this (like everyone else) and I sort of think it was worth it. I look back and think maybe I could've got like 2-3 other different games I was looking in too (Okami, Shadow of the Colossus and Bully...) Now I bought Bully after anyways...but that's not what I'm talking about....
The Bad: It gets tiring after a while. I've played all the unlockable songs, and I've pretty much got 5 stars on everything (in medium). I might beat it in Hard and Expert, but other games like Bully I want to complete. The game really is good and the production values and everything are awesome, it's just that you pay loads of money, you get a good deal...but then you wonder if you really wanted to get this after all. Overall, this is a sick-ass awesome game with good stuff. You gotta make sure you thought over if you want to shell out the money but it's pretty much worth it!
