Rock and roll at it's best.
1. Even though the HO/POs are easier this time around, they are extremely hard to pick out from the regualr notes, especially in solos with lots of fast strumming.
2. Better setlist, worse covers. The killing in the name of cover is a joke, and the beast and the harlot cover sounds more like some crappy MTV punk pop song than a metalcore song.
3.The level placement, especially on the PS2 version, is bad. Why is heart shaped box on tier 2, why is woman on tier 1, and why don't beast and the harlot and carry me home flip-flop places.
Now, what i find unfair is taht the 360 version gets 8 extra songs, two of them (dead and the trooper) being some terrific songs with great guitaring.
All in all, despite some minor flaws, this game is a fantastic game that is sure to catch not only the eye of a rock music fan, but also anyone with half a brain (and a good amount of cash.)
