The only thing I hate about the game is the diverse setlist... In, guitar hero 5, it was ok cause of the something for everyone mentality. However, why include old pop-rock songs in a game so heavily focused on metal?
OF COURSE ITS MORE OF THE SAME the only reason i get all of the guitar hero games is to play different songs THE SAME sort of way i did before, and this looks like a really awesome set list...
It's a f***ing music game. Music games are usually about music and charts. Can you go make one that's completely different? no? then quit your whining. If you don't find them fun, don't buy them.
The last GH game I bought was Legends Of Rock. And that was the best one I played and was worth buying. Legends of Rock + World Tour/GH5 Elements= The next greatest GH game. =) IMO.
Do we really need a video review for this? if you have seen a guitar hero game, you have seen them all, you can even see the one coming out next year.
like sports games i can't see why people would buy the same rehashed game each year, i've stopped buying COD since its doing the same thing each year.
Urg, so past this tired out series. Why play a guitar hero game with all the money going to those profit grabbing ******** at activision when I can play real guitar?
@CassadyH I totally agree. I have only played Legends of Rock, and am perfectly content with it. I don't knew what new concepts could be possibly added, but there need to be new ones.

Seem like it isn't much of a improvement. Its basically saying stick with GT5... Activision lost its way...
more of the same ?? well, what do you excpect ? that you can smash the podium with your guitar and shoot lightning with it like brutal legend ? hell no, this is guitar hero.
Why cant they ever show someone who can actually play GH! Cmon, he was missing the greens in the beginning! Anyway, I love GH and it should have arrived yesterday =( Bought it with guitar =) Although I couldnt shake the feeling that GH smash hits and metallica were 'smoother' than GH5. Loving the Helloween character btw! Shut ur face! I think its a Helloween character!
technically, it's a good deal because buying a song normally usually costs about a dollar, and they said there's about 90 songs on this game. So just for the songs alone you already get a good deal.
How long before the online is a ghost town? Since Guitar Hero 3, every GH game I've played has followed the same pattern: Play career with each instrument, visit online multiplayer to find there's nobody there, return game.
Oh pleasee, of course its same as last year because this game is a rhythm game! Its gonna be always the same gameplay, but we LOVE it.
I actually didn't like Guitar Hero 5 as much as I though and after seeing Warriors of Rock, I actually might like this one more
Looks the same with "bells and whistles". Not for me. Let's see what's on RockBand 3, then i'll decide what I should get for a social party.
I may not really be interested in Guitar Hero or Rock Band, but at least RB knows what people want. GH keeps peddling the same characters and 13 year-old's idea of "cool". everything's demons, leather, and spikes. there have been 2 games since World Tour and nothing has changed. Neversoft doesn't understand why people play these games
Why say first comment if that is all you say ! whatever i think we have had enough of guitar hero and rock band unless they do a massive overall ! like first person guitar playing and fake coke snoring on a prostitute butt ! oh wait that game would be rated M ...And bobby k would not want that !
Gene Simmons is freaking awesome but it doesn't sound like him at all in the video review. [I'm referring to the voice of the god or whatever not Chris Waters] Sounds like an honest review though.
This is probably my favorite GH. I love the powers and challenges. Oh, and slicedbread, you CAN get both, you know. I am.
