Great game with a bit of that harder rock for people who aren't into pop...

Guitar Hero Metallica has many songs from Metallica that will get everyone up and singing. Songs that aren't from Metallica are mainly songs Metallica covered at one point or another, but these songs are still great. The mini-storyline that you have during a career is the same for every career in this game, unlike having different storylines for different careers in Guitar Hero World Tour. But each career can be fairly short which I found a bit disappointing and the last song you have to play in order to finish a career is easier than most of the songs you play before you even get to it which was also a bit of a let down. But graphics are pretty good on this game and it is a great stand-alone game from the other Guitar Hero Games. Online play doesn't come alive until late at night in the states but there are many different types of battles which offer lots of enjoyment. Although not all instruments are yet supported for all the battles, as long as you have a guitar you can rock out online. Even with the few disappointments, I still recommend this game to any Metallica fan.
