Easier than GH3, shorter than GH3, same price as GH3?

Seriously. This game is bad. I rented it because I knew that it would not be worth the hefty tag.

Aerosmith songs, sadly, do not have the drive needed to carry an entire game. Repetitive, lack of any action, and surprising to me, a lack of challenging solos(and you are lucky if the song you are playing has one).

The characters look nothing like the band, at least in the PS2 version.

I found myself enjoying the non-Aerosmith songs, but even those disappointed.

Oh, and there is a random guitar battle near the end. For no reason. Just to piss on the wounds, I suppose. It took me less than three hours to beat the thing. Even Rocks the 80s was longer than that.

The difficulty is perhaps the most aggravating part. Yes, GH3 was horribly, horribly charted by Activision, but this is somehow worse. The songs have the same two measure phrase repeated fifty times before going to a chorus of a three measure phrase repeated thirty times. Its really bad.

I blame the whole idea of making a game around one band. Even though theres other songs in it(a nice relief before you have to play any of the unknown Aerosmith songs).

And dont get me wrong, I enjoy Aerosmith. Well, listening to them, at least.
