Cool fighting game that makes my anime loving side go crazy
What makes me come back to this game every once in a while is its sweet anime graphics. I just can’t get enough of it! If it should be 2D this is how it should be, crazy anime fighting with loads of sparks, flashes and… that sort of stuff ^^! I also have to say that I’m no good at this game, at all, so I can’t comment on how deep the fighting mechanics are for those who want’s to get good at it. But for me as a newbie it works well. The only thing that came as a surprise to me when I first played it are the instant kill moves and how easy they are to execute, so when playing at easy they are a rather good way to guarantee victory. The music is ok, but the sound-effects and especially the uber cool Japanese voices are just perfect. So in the end this is a game that I like for its appearance and not for game play (might not the case for every one). And then it’s kind of sad that there are no other modes beside you normal arcade and VS (been a while since I played it can’t remember if there is a survival mode :S).
To sum it up it’s a cool but not that long lasting experience. (If you are not aiming at becoming a pro or something that is)
