Note to all keyboard racers. Dont try and play this game

Well, just picked up Grid today. And all i can say is first off, dont even try and play it on a keyboard or gamepad. You will smack your self silly with frustration . Get a good joystick or wheel, and set it up to your tastes.

Now, with that out of the way. The game is beautiful to look at. The game is almost Crysis like it its graphics, and I can easily say that this is the best racing game Ive ever laid eyes on. Also, every car in game will take real time damage, and its not just for looks either. It will effect how your handles.

The control with my Logitech Force 3D Pro needed some tweaking, but once i found that sweet spot for it. The game's awesome driving engine came alive and i was burning down race tracks like no one's business. A good wheel would do even better once it was dialed in. (and POSSIBLY A GOOD GAMEPAD)

As for the flashback idea, geeze why didnt someone think of this earlier?! Its awesome, but take note. You only get so many per race, and while its great to have em, use em only when you need them.

The audio is ok. It didnt pick up my Soundblaster X-Fi for hardware (Probally because i dont have EAX installed) But it still sounds awesome. You hear every runch of metal, burning of tires, and the crowd.

I havent tried the multiplayer yet, so i cant say how well that performs.

In all, awesome game, and for those who are scoring it low because you are playing it on keyboard. Well, too bad. 9.5/10 here
