First off Wayne 06 is a pretty decent hockey game the Rosters are pretty up to date though a big problem is the rookies have no names so Sidney Crosby is just Rookie number 0 but they do have their according stats. The graphics arent that bad it could be better for a PSP but you can tell players from thier faces. Though things like the crowd and the reflection free ice seem too sub par. The game does have its share of minor issues like the Goalie gameplay sometime they seem amazing and you wonder how they stop these amazing shots but a lot of the times they make stupid decisions or not postioned right at all and just make easy goals. Which makes the Scoring very high. i mean i actually went up 7-0 on a crappy team and they came back 7-5 by the end of the 2nd period only on about 12 shots compared to my 36. Another thing is the defensemen arent that great at getting back to their end. You will see many break aways in the game which can be frustrating and rewarding but stick checking is useless the huge over the top body checks is your only option. Even though the game strives for realism its really more of a Arcade Hockey game with the lack of legit penalties and the Huge most the time illegal checks you put on players. The season mode isnt bad but simulating games takes forever even off days take like 45 seconds to simulate which sucks when you get one game a week. Other minor bugs include how the puck can be seen in replay going through skates and majically being hit without touching the players Stick which is sad for a game that replays something about every minute. The announcers arent bad they even have Darren Pang a ESPN analyst who is a hockey guru. Overall if you Love Hockey and wanna play it on PSP this is the only choice for you.
