Pros:
- Beautiful world
- Solid graphics
- Very few loading screens
- Some intriguing plot points
- The occasional interesting choice
- Fun ending
- Massive experience delivered by a small studio
Cons:
- Over-writing in much of the dialogue
- Not much to the story
- Took me roughly 40 hours to complete, doing a few side quests. The story probably could have been told in like 10. It really needed more substance and action. Less dialogue and more emotion.
- Ugly and overused character models
- Many simple tasks require you to unlock skills to perform (In general, I did not find the skill trees to be very well balanced)
- Tons of running back and forth (No horses or anything. Even fast travel points can take a while to reach)
- Bland combat
- I really tried to find a better way to say this, but: it’s just kind of boring
Nitpickey:
- Not a big fan of most of the armor/apparel choices
Rating:
- Story ***** 5/10
