An XTREME! embarrassment to the 'Grandia' series...

I'm a HUGE fan of the Grandia series- just look at my icon! The first Grandia is my ABSOLUTE favorite game of all time maybe the only game I'd give a perfect 10 too. True the graphics are basic 2D and the translation is off at some points- and maybe the dialogue's cheesy to some. But I loved those characters. You get immersed in the story of Justin, Sue, Feena, and all the other character's journey. The battles are fun and rewarding when you reach the end of each mission. I could play that game 100 times all the way through and still love it.

Grandia II isn't bad at all. Pretty good storyline, ok characters, similar battle system, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

But Grandia Xtreme? BLECCCCHHHH!!!!!!!

I bought this game when it first came out- super excited thinking that it MUST be good if they resorted to using the stupid "XTREME!" in their title.

Now I know: xtreme = the devil

I popped the game in my PS2, and started a new game. And then I promptly fell asleep 4 minutes in. The characters meaningless babble was THAT boring. br />

Ok, the battle systems great very inventive very XTREME blahblahblah- who are these people that are actually playing this game long enough to even GET to the first battle?

DON"T BUY THIS GAME!!! On that note, don't even get PAYED to take this game. Absolutely awful.
