Grandia III is third game in Grandia series. Too bad, but it's the worst of them. The story truly sucks. I did enjoy it, but I wanted to know why those characters did bad things. But you know what, you will NEVER get to know those things. There are too many plotholes in storyline and that made me kinda angry at the ending. Gameplay: THE BATTLESYSTEM ROCKS! This is the best thing of this game and this was one of the things why I played this game. I truly loved the battlesystem. This is similar to other Grandia's gameplay systems so you can read my other reviews to check the gameplay system. The new things here are: When you do magic, like Howl, you can still add commands for your characters even if the magic is going on. In other Grandia's, when you did magic, the screen stopped and you had to watch the whole magic until the battle continued. This time you can even guard before the magic hits you. The other new thing here, is Aerial Combos. You can hit enemy up in the air with Critical (if the enemy is doing something, like attacking other character and you hit that enemy with Critical before it success hitting that character, the enemy will fly in the air and if you have luck, you should have other character's turn. The enemy is still in the air and if you choose Combo to that enemy, the character should smack the enemy in the air. Those combos really rock, too bad they are all the time the same ( even though you can add more combos to them )
Graphics: Well, the graphics are amazing. Can't say anything bad about them. I once stared the sun cause it was so beutiful
Sound: In other Grandia's, I always loved the soundtracks. And this is not exception. This is one of those things that kept me going
Value: The game is short. It took me 25 hours to clear. And there are no sidequest. Whippee, another short RPG game! In past Grandia's, there were few sidequests but here, THERE IS NONE!
Tilt: If you're Grandia fan, you like this game. If you haven't played the past Grandia's, I don't recommend this for you
