A perfect game

User Rating: 10 | Grand Theft Auto V PS3

It's rare that a game comes along and it's worth 60$, at least for me. I have very high standards in gaming, and I think everyone else should too. GTAV spares no expense on the mechanics, ideas, and graphics, and it's especially impressive for being on tech that's a decade old. I can't wait to see what they have for the next gen, or PC.

I don't like the saying, NOTHING IS PERFECT. Then why does the word exist? Do you want to know why people say, NOTHING IS PERFECT?? It's because of how opinions vary, which is nice... but not really fair to say that a word can't be applied to anything just because people disagree with each other.

Despite some minor flaws in GTAV it's still perfect to me!

My gripes would be nitpicking, saying that the child actors in the game are really bad, and really annoying. However, it could be said that they were just meant to be stereotypical. I think everything in GTA is stereotyped. Black, white, spanish, or any race... upper class, middle class, lower class, radio hosts, yoga instructors, it's all stereotyped. That's the world of GTA, always has been and always will be I am sure. Some people complain, especially women I'm sure. Even though the men are just as badly stereotyped.

Another complaint is the helicopter controls... geez, is it really that annoying? Vehicle controls became a chore in GTA4, but you can get used to it. GTA5 made it a little more tolerable, but the helicopter is stupid! Am I going to let that ruin my perfect game? No.

What makes GTA so perfect? What other game can you fly a plane in, parachute out of, land on a mountain, steal a bike and ride down like a psychopath with a deathwish? Don't think there is one... you can do whatever you want almost, short of destroying skyscrapers or other buildings. It's the perfect game to let out all of your frustrations in a fantasy world, it might not be so ridiculous to say that GTA saves lives.

This game can live out your psychotic imagination, got a problem with the clothes? Go crazy and kill the owner... or not. Just leave and never shop there again. Sick of red lights? Run them... sick of pedestrians? Run them over. Crash your car all you want. Steal another one... it's that kind of game! Hate the law? GO TO WAR!!

The story in this isn't better than GTA4 or Ray Liotta's game. However, it tries to relate to all types of people, it wasn't your typical rags to riches GTA. Which is okay I guess, I would have preferred a better story. However, with the 3 different characters, they managed to weave an epic adventure that takes quite awhile to finish.

The selection of music is horrible, I had to put it on the talk radio or turn it off completely. But that's just me, I'm not into popular music.

The game is a masterpiece with some minor flaws that don't detract from the game. This is something that could be played for years as long as your imagination holds up in the world.

Even tennis is fun in GTAV. That's ridiculous...

With a billion in sales I guess I'm beating a dead horse. Enjoy!
