After the lost expansion and how much I hated it I was surprised by how good this one was.

User Rating: 8.5 | Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony X360
The basic story for BoGT is good, 80s and 90s are gone and Night Clubs are going down in popularity your boss has a drug problem has the wrong friends in too much debt and makes a bunch of shady deals. Got all that because the lost didn't.

Slightly longer than the lost and the damned and on it's own despite Length I think it would have sold well as it's own game. Again the fighting car chases are all good. You still can take cover and the camera works well so you can blast everything the new guns are the best except for the sniper the cellphone works unlike the lost where it's unreadable. Now despite awesome car chases you have skydiving boating races and GOLF wait what? with exception of golf all the features are awesome. You also dance and manage nightclub with unlimited shots YES!

As far as the story goes the characters are developed well most are even the ones that aren't around for long can have more characterization than main characters in lost and the damned. also your boss knows the crime boss of the girl Niko kidnapped and you get to meet Brucie's brother and see that club where Roman always hangs out.

In side missions you can go to a fight club (illegal of course) or run drug missions for your friends. The best New feature is this Arab billionaire who likes gold and I'm not going to ruin it for you.

The main reason to get this though is in entire chunk of the story is devoted to Nikos old boss Mr.Bulgarian or how ever you spell it.
And with this expansion you see how the diamond subplot starts and ends.

So same length as Lost and the Damned and manages to get better characters or characters the kept me entertained was heavily tied in to the original game unlike the other expansion where it was in its own universe and barley out side the diamond subplot was connected. The action was better due to explosive shells in rapid fire shotgun and skydiving so this while not perfect due to its length is worth it's 8.5 rating.
