I remember the day that I read GTA IV's review on gamespot, for the PC. It got a 9/10, as opposed to the 10/10 that the console versions got. It apparently was a 'terrible port', but I bought it anyway. Well, I started the campaign, with high textures for everything. To my delight, it ran smoothly, and I experienced no lag. I found that all the controls were fine, and my frame rate didn't fluctuate. So, to be honest, I don't see the fuss about a 'terrible port'.

The first little gripe I have about the game is its graphics. I'm not going to be to harsh about them, seeing as they are 2008 graphics. However, I found that everything looked a bit washed out, and grey. This may have been the game's intentions, however I decided to download a mod which gave the game 2012 graphics. I know it was wrong, but I couldn't help it!

One of the things I loved about this game was the sounds. This ranged from the voices of the characters, to the brilliant radio stations, and the hilarious tv shows. I think that the reason I fell in love with the radio shows so much was because of their amazing portrayal of Republicans and American society. I, myself, am British, so I found each and every talk show to be absolutely hilarious. The tv... well I don't think I need to talk about the TV... Let me just say one phrase: 'Republican Space Rangers'.

The gameplay in GTA IV was the best gameplay I've seen in a while. Every mission was a blast, whether it was taking down a gang, or forcing a target off the street, and straight into a wall. I haven't finished the game yet, but I've already played 24 hours of it in total. I don't know what else to say, other than brilliant epic fantastic super cool amazing.

Overall, GTA IV is an incredible game, and if you install a graphics mod, it's the best. Ever.
