Grand Theft Auto 3 on Ps2 is the first 3D game in the GTA series and it's great and revolutionary.
After a robbery at the bank, one of gang members is betrayed and shot down. While having a ride to jail a crew comes by and frees him. Now, you play as this dude and cause some serious crimes.
Game play:
Instead of a top-down view like in the first two games, this time it's an open world 3D game. You go around in Liberty City doing missions and causing destruction. Also, unlike the first two games, you can even pick up prostitutes.
Graphics:
Brilliant and nice visuals. Liberty City looks nicely built and well done. Explosions and Shooting effects look great.
Music and Sound:
Nice song in the intro of this game. Nice radio music when you're in the car. Sound effects are great as well.
Controls:
Analog sticks for moving around. Square for jumping. O for punching or shooting (if you have a weapon). L1 or 2 and R1 or 2 for switching weapons. Also, you can use L1 to switch radio stations when you're in the car.
Lasting Appeal:
It's a great and revolutionary 3D game on PlayStation 2. 9 out of 10.
