The GTA edition that got the series going.
Those of you who are bored with the newer GTA titles,such as vice city & san andreas,will be surprised.GTA III is basically the same,it has good physics,graphics,and maps.I found it easy,and fun to play...surprising,most titles aren't playable once you get used to the newer editions.You can't swim in this one but who cares...i didn't want a swimming game.
The game has alot of freedom...freedom to sit on a rooftop and snipe civilians,or try to complete the tasks given to you by the mafia etc.You can steal anythingthing you see...you like that red vette at the stoplight? just run over there,drag the fat dude out,slap him around,even kill him if you wish...and take the car.You can walk around to fistfight,and rob people.Maybe you just want to have fun driving your stolen ride.There are loads of jumps,and obsticles to try out...maybe you just wanna do some hillclimbing.I like seeing what cars can climb best etc.You get what i mean,freedom man,freedom.
I jumped onto the hood of a passing car,and stood there busting caps as the driver cruised around...what a blast.
Bottom line..get it,even if you own all the newer editions.
