A great addition to the GTA 4 series
I have GTA 4 for the PC and I didn't find it to be as good as San Andreas because they took out way too much things. Like custom cars and personalize your characters like working out and exercising.
Here we have two new complete games in one. The lost and Damned and the Ballard of Gay Tony. The later is way better.
Why is The Ballard of Gay Tony much better is because they put back some of the things that was stripped from the Lost and Damned. Like optional clothing and not having to be on a bike to start optional missions.
Yes I know that they wanted players to get the culture of being a biker but this is GTA. An open sandbox game where we can pick and choose how to play or what to wear. They also took out that awful distorted weather color of GTA 4 and The lost and Damned. Yes I know they wanted Grit but that gritty look drove me crazy. I kept thinking there was something wrong with my video card and for this instance my console.
I also like how the more expensive cars were easier to get in The Ballard of Gay Tony. While biker life is more criminal type story for a GTA game. They did a good job incorporating the criminal aspect of a club house owner(Gay Tony) Overall I felt The Ballard of Gay Tony had a more GTA feel of Crime and money and living the high life than Lost and Damned. The Lost and Dammed was more into the criminal aspect of GTA series. This addition is a must buy for all GTA fans. I am glad I bought it for my 360.
My rating is 8.9 but cant select that like a GameSpot reviewer so 8.5 will have to do.
