What a bunch of trashiness & this game is not addictive whatsoever.

I thought I would try this one out, mainly because of all the "hype" about GTA games. When I first started playing this game, I had to put it down within the hour. Every time after that, I couldn't stand to play it much more than 20 minutes at a time because it was actually repetitive. I think these GTA games are really quite trashy. I found nothing exciting about the missions or selling drugs. I don't know why anyone would want to play this over other, better games out there.
The only thing good I can say about it is that the city & cars look good and it's got a classy feel to it.(quite stunning, actually) It's fun earning money as a taxi driver. Some of the vehicles are fun to drive around in. The music is okay, too.
The shooting in the game isn't very good and I found it hard to shoot quickly. There really wasn't much to it. Some of the street people say stupid things that almost got me to let out a laugh, but not quite.
I really just wasn't motivated to complete all of the missions because they don't appeal to me; therefore, they really aren't rewarding. I didn't desire a higher ranking as a gang member/criminal. I definately think these kinds of games are better enjoyed by people who actually don't mind people living this kind of lifestyle. It was my mistake to purchase the game. I felt like I was supporting this kind of stuff. To me, it's just not worth it.
