A wonderful idea that falls short in some ways, but overall stands out from the rest.

Gotham City is a clever idea that sort of builds around the Team Fortress series gameplay and mixes it with something like Unreal Tournament. It's a fast paced FPS with quirky power ups, strange weapons, and goofy level design that makes sure that it never takes itself seriously. Don't expect the next best online shooter here. Gotham City replaces warfare tactics with clever character class creations. You get perks and can customize your own classes, choosing which weapons you want and which attachments you want for them. Believe me you can come up with some neat combinations, and there are so many that no two players are alike. However one thing I was disappointed with was the actual character appearance customization, it's actually kind of limited and the character models end up looking similar, but it fits the style of the game well. This game is funny, addicting and definitely worth it's $15 retail.
Graphics- Mediocre but the art style is very goofy and fits the game well.
Sound- Pretty Good, the voices of your character are silly and can be adjusted to many different pitches. The dialogue is funny.
Gameplay- FUN FUN FUN, it's nothing remarkable but it's lots of fun, esp. if you love batman.
Overall I can't wait to see what they do to upgrade this game and make it even better. This is what gamers deserve, an excellent game for a cheap price that has lots of potential for future expansions. I highly recommend it to anyone.
