Yes... a perfect 10 is what I would rate this game. When it first arrived on the scene I was addicted from the first stage. Based on the movie with the same name you play as the famous 007 James Bond in first person view. Battle your way through several levels in order to stop the Goldeneye weapon from destroying key cities and countries. Then you can play a few extra levels from previous Bond movies. Lets take about the actual game first. You start out with a simple silenced handgun and you can collect bigger and better weapons along the way, including throwing knives. Whats makes this game great is the complexity of some of the levels. From being trapped in a prison cell to being outside in the blizzard snowbanks. Also some stealth is involved as you have to avoid cameras that will bring never ending soldiers to hunt you down. You can play each stage in 3 different difficulty levels in order to unlock more extras. Each stage/difficulty levels has different goals to obtain in order to pass the stage making things more interesting as you play along. After you complete all stages there is the extra "Man with the Golden Gun" stage that is really hard. Now for the Multi-player part. This is where I spent over 100 hours playing this game. The options are endless as you can select which weapons would be available, which stage to play in and also how many kills or energy you can have. Plus you can have up to 4 players at once which is loads of fun. Also there is a ton of secret characters that you can unlock and play as old Bond movie characters. The replay value on this game is endless and the fun never stops. Plant mines and lure other players into traps or just go in blazing away. Hide in vents or on catwalks to surprize your opponents as well. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. This game is a must have and is one of the best FPS ever made for any system.
