Gamespot must be smoking rocks to give this game 8, i can smell activision all over this game, leave james bond alone

Well once again pearce brosman is now once again daniel craige in golden eye reloaded.

Story: golden eye n64 far superior while graphics department was really good back in 90's but now no, but does it live up to reputation that proceeds it?

short answer "NO"

because the story shares no linage to n64 version it consisted of cut outs assuming people wouldn't actually have clue what the old predecessor was like and chances are they probably wouldn't.

Gameplay: clunky while game tries very hard holding your dam hand towards beginning you eagerly wait when game will actually start and when it does you become highly irritated to why game feels clunky, (ai) is certainly no improvement while game throws silenced pp7 assuming that you can use it when actually it becomes useless as enemy instantly detects you since there's no actual lean mechanic inplace while covering around corners it really favours the lucky since relying on mini map becomes your only option if stealth is your approach but if you prefer going commando then chances are u'll enter a room oblivious what to expect only realise (ai) spotted you automatically and only way for you return stealth is restart check point, but if you manage to sneak through a ventilation system while stealth is broken then ai will hunt you down.

At times when i was sniping near ledge high up (AI) could shoot through walls nasty glitch

Graphics: feel out dated, it seems activision authorised one of their 3rd party studios who made golden eye to port stuff from cod universe OR wii so if you notice anything in this game expect it to come from mw3 but dubbed down entirely great way tarnish a really strong franchise like james bond.

Sound: While rest of game may seem horrid sounds actually not bad but at times cuts out like in nightclub scene, depending how many times you die it can get quite repetitive

Multiplayer: Golden eye on nintendo 64 was always renown for interesting multiplayer concepts while "reloaded" reflects most likely on soldier of fortune an unfortunate experience no body would wish to play james bond universe.

Pros:Great multiplayer.

Cons:Poor ai,under powered guns, clunky game controls, feels like port from cod universe but much worse, has no relationship to old school golden eye, later on in game parts of game will mindlessly punish you for not knowing what to use your spy camera on, recycled challenges that feel out dated, insult to james bond franchise.

Multiplayer in my opinion should've been dlc only, but it's shame rare didn't continue legacy James bond as golden eye on n64 was rock solid.
