The first Golden Sun game was a big surprise to many people who played the game. It has it's own RPG element which made the game very nice. In 2003, the sequel, Golden Sun: The Lost Age was released in the US. Once I picked up this game myself and inserted it into my Gameboy Advance, i was amazed. The RPG elements which made the first Golden Sun so popular were back and even more features were added into this game.Features

Features like more summons, more story, and many more things were put right into The Lost Age. In The Lost Age, you'll find that world around you is highly detailed. After you start playing the game, there is like a lure that keeps pulling you on to play the game. Infact, i could not stop playing the game almost everyday until I was forced off the game. The fighting in the game is very cool and has nice visual effects as the characters use summons. There are many items and weapons that are hidden adding replay value to collect them. An odd type of animal called "Djinns" are hidden throughout the game world. Djinns allow you to use more summons and raise your stats.

The graphics are absoloutely stunning for a GBA game because of the way characters move and the world look very nice. There is also more replay value to Golden Sun: The Lost Age because once you complete the game, you can restart the game in two modes. The two modes are Hard Mode and Easy Mode -- in hard mode you start out with nothing and the monsters are a lot harder, and in Easy mode, you start out with all your levels, stats, items, and the monsters are the same as before. The sound and music is pretty good, but after a while, it gets very annoying to listen to it as you compelte a dungeon.

Overall, Golden Sun: The Lost Age is a great game that all RPG fans that own a Gameboy Advance should play.
