probaly one of the most epic rpg's for GBA

User Rating: 9 | Ougon no Taiyou: Ushinawareshi Toki GBA
golden sun the lost age is the 2nd instailment of the golden sun series that finish's off it's large scale storyline and defently consist of one of the best system of gameplay ever for gameboy rpg's, reguardless to say...nothing's much change from the first golden sun really, but that alone wont stop most players who played the original golden sun from enjoying this game or newcomer's who hadvent,

Storyline 9/10 proceeding from last game...

yes, it is indeed a typical save the world plot like nearly every rpg, however, what's nice about this storyline is that it's prety unperdictible while being logical, (which amiditly why i mainly think it's good) the goal is clearly seen that you must finish 2 tower's that were not lit in the last game, but how to approch this will make the storyline open to varible's and more less perdictive, you go along with 4 character's most formuilar from golden sun one, Fenix,Jeena,Sheba and Peire, each character consisting of there own favored element and good carved out personalty's beside's Fenix, who's now the main protagonist, who for some reason became randomly mute over the first game when he was not, ignoring that, what's also nice is you dont have to play the first game to understand everything that's happening in this game, though of course it would help, with that said, the storyline isn't to boring and is decently thought out so much that id probaly had to take to game's like in this case,

Gameplay 10/10 unmatchable (GBA wise)

as like the first the gameplay of it is done by the traditional 4 party member's and enemy's like mostley any rpg game lineout, but that's when golden sun gets diffrent from other rpg's, the speed of your attack's and magic's is so incredibly fast along with it's really high animation combo is very revoultionary,
you'll just plainly love to see the same attack over and over again because it's just done so well and great to watch, your enemy's also move as quick as you do, making this game one of the fastest's and most satisfying battle's ever in rpg's maybe even reaching to being better then consel rpg level's to show them that lower graphics or having lower limit's can make better game, and to add extreamly well balanced boss's for you to use all your fury on including side boss's, i must confess however nearly half the move's you see here are from the first game and aspect's of dijin still hadvent changed but still enough new one's to keep prevoius goldensun player's entertained full of many new move's, i know it's hard to understand from the text of player's who hadvent played the game before, you just simpily need to play it to understand,

Graphic's 9/10 insane

take's GBA to the limit's, nearly every animation in this game is beautifully made to look nearly 3D in 2D style in atack animation wise making no move looking the same and dull, everything 3D on the map is also made very well made out and the 2D model's of characters and people are decent overall, the only problem is most of it is reused from the first golden sun in the land, town or place subject's but i suppose it's unadvoidable,

Music: 10/10 suprisingly epic

like the first golden sun this game has great music that fit's its respective place, but what's more interesting is the new music peice's are just as good as the original and not just better, the music in this game will defently give you the feel of your surrounding's and make gameplay even that much better as well as boss battle theme's that might stay in your mind for year's, to simpily put it, it's prety epic for a GBA

Replay value 8/10 it can't all be perfect

there is a new game plus but other then that..there not really to much reason to play this game again other then to enjoy the battle system or storyline which can really be done anywere in the game...there is 2 player link vs though, and a consective battle trial your free to do, other then that however there really isn't to much reason to do so,

final words...this is probaly one of the best rpg's ever made for GBA, anyone new to the series or who played the first should enjoy this 2nd and possibly last instailment of golden sun, and hey...its probaly only 7.99 dollar's by now
