God of War is one of the best action games to date

God of War is one of the most impressive action I have ever played. At first, the games story isn't cleared, from the first level not much is revealed, at the begging all you know is your Kratos, and you're pissed off at something. The story slowly reveals itself as you go on with dark twist that go where most video game stories don't go. The basic game play is pretty simple, yet done amazing well. At the begging of the game you start with two swords tied to you're arms called the "blades of chaos". You use the blades in a kind of 'beat em' up' kind of fighting style. But as the game progresses you learn new moves with the blades and also you learn a few God magic powers to fight your enemies. There are only a few games that have better boss fights than God of War. The battles are huge, epic, and quite challenging. Each boss battle has a mini you use to ether to hurt or kill the boss. Just action not enough for you? God of War also has plenty of puzzles to keep you going, these puzzles aren't enough to keep you stuck for a long time, but most of them do take some thinking to figure out. The game also has one of the best soundtracks that a action game has ever had, dark, dramatic orchestra music, fits perfectly with the game. The hades level could of been done better, some of those puzzles are pretty annoying. The game is also pretty short, it will probably only take you about 10 hours to beat this game. These keep the game from scoring a perfect score. But in no means that make the game not worth game, in my personal opinion. So I highly recommended checking this game out.
