God of War 2 is just a pure, adrenaline rush from beginning to end!

It wasn't until I noticed God of War III last year at E3 that I appreciated the visceral game play that the genre had to offer. However, since I had never owned a Sony system until the PS3, I had never had the opportunity to play God of War I and II.

That is until the God of War Collection was announced, then I decided to purchase the game to catch up on what they offered, and I was dying for a new title to add to my PS3 collection.

Well, in short, this game blew me away. I could get into details as to what makes this game so great, but then this review would just be too long.

I have never been a fan of the "hack and slash" genre, but this title has seriously converted me otherwise.

The environments, game play, score, scale, pacing, and variety all fuse together to bring one of the best action experiences ever.

This is an essential gaming experience.
