Slightly better than the NES version.

So far I've checked out two versions already. The NES one, which is the most notable one, was considered one of the worst NES games of all time. But the Master System one was a huge hit.

The Atari 2600 version of Ghostbusters is a little better than the NES version but not by a lot. First of all, the driving scenes at least don't have any drivers, but there's no point of it anymore, but to collect maybe a ghost or two. Second, the busting scene has now become rigged. You can hardly get them with the trap and your beams hardly even work!

The main screen is completely bland; all parks. On the top is the Zuul Building. Ghosts go up there and the PK energy meter goes up.

But there is another good point I need to mention: No STAIRWELL!! Yes!! But now you have to play around with the difficulty switch to beat Stay Puff, but it's not worse than having to press a all the time to get up some stairs.

Ghostbusters on the 2600 for the time was acceptable. It's not a good game, but it's much better than the nintendo ones. The Genesis/Master System versions were much better than this one however.
