GitS isn't a bad game in any respect but it could've been better than it is if there was more variety in the missions.
The Bad : Gmaeplay could've been better,more mission variety,camera can get frustrating during the evasive moves.
GitS is a 3rd Person shooter based on the anime.In the game you play as Major Kusanagi & Batou.The only difference between those 2 is that Batou is slower & less agile than Motoko Kusanagi even in melee combat so like me most of you will like Kusanagi unless your a Batou fan.But you'll have to play as both of them in alternating missions.The game only has 12 missions which you can easily beat in 10-12 hours.Based on the difficulty you are playing you will unlock new costumes,characters for multiplayer & new weapons & their unlimited ammo for the single player mode.
As I mentioned earlier GitS may not be the best game to be played but is ambitious & is worth a rental or a purchase.
