I feel it could have been much better.

I don't normally return games for credit. I just keep them. This one however, went back as soon as I beat it. I bought into the hype around this game and was extremely disappointed. I don't want to just out and out bash the game because there were somethings in there I thought were cool. However, its the rest of the game that killed it for me. I'm not a big online player. I prefer single player games. I didn't research enough on this game to know that it is mostly an online multiplayer game. My fault completely. I could look past the short single player mode though, if it were good. I found that it was just the same thing level after level. Run through this level, shoot everything in sight, next level, repeat. Run and gun games can be fun if they are a small part of a bigger picture, but there was no other picture in this game. That's it. Run and gun. The stuff I found cool were the guns, and the destructible cover. The physics seemed pretty good, and I liked the way the controls worked. This doesn't make up for the lack of content though.
Short answer to this game......BOO! Gears of War 2? No thanks.
I understand there is a loyal following, and that's great. I am in the minority here. Just thought there could be more content.
