A legendary game that gives everyone who plays it a burst of adrenaline.

Before Gears of war came out, i didn't have any want to have it. To tell you the truth it didn't even interest me, but i looked at the videos and read a little bit on it and decided it was at least worth a try, so i reserved it. A couple weeks later, i headed to the gamestop near me to pick it up, drove home, stared at the box for a minute and put it in the 360. At first glance, it seemed like another generic action game, but once i started playing i got hooked. The gameplay was amazing, nothing i hadn't seen before, but rather, far more perfected then i have ever seen it. This was the first 3rd person shooter i couldn't put down, in fact its the first game in years that i have had in a system for more then a month without opening the disc drive. The action is fast moving with awesome things such as explosions and blood. It ran smoother then any 360 game i had played, and the graphics were superb. If i ever hear anyone say graphics don't enhance gameplay again i will smack them. The graphics probably make the game much much better then it would be on something such as the ps2 or even the original xbox. The sound is alright, the sound effects are very nice and clear, but i feel like the soundtrack COULD have been better. While the cinematic feel of the music is great, id rather have something like heavy metal in the background, thank god for custom soundtrack. Like i said before this is a game that will last people who were looking for a heart thumping adrenaline rush hours upon hours of fun. Even if this isn't exactly what you are looking for, i would highly recommend you to at least rent it and buy it if you like the rental. Its truly an amazing game and i think its great for anyone above the age of 16 to play. Check this game out. -Falcon
