A Superb Shooter Experience
The gameplay is so smooth and fluid. I was surprised how well it handled and how much can be going on at once without any problems. Silky smooth gameplay really helps the appeal of the game, because you feel like you're totally in control. It's your own fault if you die.
Graphically, it's stupendous. Everybody knows this, and I don't know if I even need to go into detail. They're spectacular.
The sound is also quite good. Lots of action makes for lots of necessary sound effects, and this game doesn't disappoint. I sometimes wish for more atmospheric, ambient noises. Some wind, maybe? (I'm being really, really nitpicky here).
The value is also quite high. Thanks to achievements, the replay value is pretty good. Playing through it on all three difficulty levels is not a foreign idea to anybody I have talked to. In fact, to truly get the most out of the game, it's absolutely necessary. The online multi is great, both co-op and versus modes. Great value.
Great game. If you have an XBOX 360, you should also probably have this game. It's really a technical marvel. The reason this game is so good, is not because of the graphics, it's the core gameplay that never gets stale. My initials are RSB, and I approve of this game.
