Gears of War not sets only a new graphic standard of video games but also delivers full action and great atmosphere.

The first time I saw Gears of War screenshots they looked good but not that awesome. But when you play it on your TV screen, you will finally realize how great this game really looks in action. Super detailed characters and stages, great water, light and explosive effects. Rainbow Six Vegas and Call of Duty 3 look great, but this one even looks even superior and really fun to play, no matter singleplay story, splitscreen, co-op storymode or online matches. The great thing is that you can play the storymode with another pal online or splitscreen despite in the midst of your last savepoint where you played solo.
The AI of your CPU comrades could be better though, but maybe they will improve this matter in the next Gears of War ;)
