Gears of what?.. judging by this they've changed a few things..

User Rating: 7 | Gears of War: Judgment X360
Judgment is a okay game... its just not as good as gears 3. and here I'll break it down for you.

Campaign - Judgement

Judgment feels more like a horde mode then anything, which is good, but it really doesn't do anything to build up the story with the first locust threat, your just in the mess day one. and now one questions where do these things come from, and why are we on trial here? and why do we need to drop a bomb on this thing, when in the end we do it ourselves?
judgement does get a little annoying with stats being brought up - cant we simply walk to the new area and see the stats appear at the side?
the declassified missions can help mix things up, adding enemies to make things tougher, but sometimes they're annoying when forcing you to carry specific weapons - why don't they just provide you with X2 points for using those weapons?

Campaign - Aftermath

a side story to gears of war 3. its okay involving you getting a boat off a roof (seriously!) but really - it should have thrown more at you. its very 'Meh'

New game controls

This is Actually a gripe with me, manly because the small fire arms have gone from your default selection! this gave the characters a good layout of weapons from the start -
shotgun (close range)
lancer (close / mid range)
pistol (mid / long)

but by making the game have only two guns like halo, makes you wonder - why am i carrying this tiny pistol again? it just makes small fire arms feel more useless. Plus using your vision mode all the time can feel a little bit clunky. and i never felt bad about using the D-pad for weapons, as it felt more like a ACTUAL weapon swap as i had to swap controls from joystick to D-pad.

Overrun

Overrun is more of a marriage of beast and horde mode. but fails a little in the process. my biggest gripe with it is that if you don't have a soldier, you can't get any more ammo, your buggered.
some classes feel better then others. there's also not enough levels. (doesn't seem to have a class switch - if i have the wrong one - you need to die first)
activating abilities that replaces your grenades also feels a little confusing, although some like the spotter grenade can make sense of things.
A.i also makes things inconsistent, sometimes hiding in the corner, not doing their job properly and it feels like even if your a good player - your still buggered because your A.i bots are idiots and you cant even bark out orders to control them! (something the original gears actually did! but was taken out!)

Horde mode

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY TOOK IT OUT!

Multi player mode

some modes have been taken out, but thankfully there's a free for all, but annoyingly there's not as much characters as gears 3. But there are colour customizations - just not as much as borderlands (which uses the same engine!) plus you don't get any choice from the start, instead you need to earn them or cough up the money!
also there's bugger all levels for multi-player. come on! at least 10! DLC AHOY!

Overall
Its okay, but just lacks the fun and value from gears3

You'll love
- its more gears!
- hey its got Baird in it!
- the markza sniper rifle. (its what sniper rifles should be)
- carry more grenades.
- still looks pretty.
- free for all is good fun.
- maybe you like HALO controls

You'll hate
- maybe the new control system
- lack of characters
- lack of horde
- lack of multiplayer levels
- lack of overrun levels.
- lack of customization colours
- cant play as locust characters in multiplayer.
- game purchases
- its possible to have no ammo to work with if no ones a soldier in overrun.
- overrun could be more flexible
- weapon swapping between characters been taken out.
- no control over the A.i in overrun, shout commands would be good.
