Gears 5 takes what was awesome about Gears 4 and then expands upon it.
Everything about this title is better.
Visually Amazing with Sound that is top notch and the enemy selection is refreshing. Combat is responsive at an amazing 60 fps but manages to do it with plenty of enemies on screen. I've yet to notice any slowdown so which is just plain crisp. To say this is the best Gears game ever may be an understatement.
Combat evolves past the normal cover shooter with scenarios that require you to keep moving.
Gears vets should not play this on normal but instead push the difficulty up for a solid but not brutal challenge. The exploration feels very similar to God of wars quite times even with areas that get cleared out once the side missions are completed. There are also lots of call backs to events in Gears past which is respectful to vets and may give insight to newbies.
I'd say this is a game is 100% with buying. Add in the Multiplayer and that's a 9 from me
