If your looking for a WoW clone with FFXI model characters, then you will like this game.

User Rating: 5.5 | Gates of Andaron PC
Gates of Andaron (GoA) is a Free to Play (F2P) MMO in which does very little to differentiate itself from any of it's noteworthy competitors. This game, like WoW, is divided into 2 factions in which the player must chose their allegiance. The player can chose from 4 races in which are based off of Final Fantasy XI model avatars, which are not restricted to either allegiance. The games story is very poorly developed amongst a very shallow grouping of quests. The quests are your regular MMO kill or fetch quests but come in far less multitude, so you often find yourself doing some quests in excess of 10 times in order to progress in the game. The item system is also poor and relies very heavily on either the cash shop or paying other players so supply you with hand me down goods. The graphics hail to WoW style graphics and PvP is regional . However despite the lack of depth in comparison to some of it's Pay to Play (P2P) competition, GoA delivers at least in terms of other F2P MMO's. So if your looking for a mediocre MMO that doesn't really do a whole lot different than GoA is for you. Keep in mind that, like all MMO's, GoA requires a large time investment. However it is completely up to you if the game dips into your personal pocket change or not.
