There are lots of background animations and New York is one huge map, however the character models are a little rough
Thanks to the storyline the gameplay follows a linear path but does so in such a way as to make it appear natural and logical. Freedom comes in the form of side-quests which can be ignored or chosen for any number of rea... Read Full Review

True Crime: New York City's potential is wasted on such lousy execution.
True Crime: New York City is the sequel to 2003's True Crime: Streets of LA. The game received decent reviews and it sold well enough to have the developer Luxoflux to create a sequel. Two years later, it came - and what... Read Full Review

One of the best games, I've ever played. The concept of NYC makes it even more cooler,...
I haven't got a single idea, why this game has been rated so low on GameSpot, here. The game itself is very wonderful, in the NYC (police) concept. I actually got stuck for a while, but now I've continued playing the... Read Full Review

Gspt seemed to misjudge abit, however, if you get by these numerous but small bugs, you might find this game enjoyable.
Ok Il be honest, I have my ups and downs with this game, but I think its kind of neat. Now Il start with the good. The world is very very open, bigger than even GTA's worlds, so there is much to explore (kind of of co... Read Full Review

A good game, almost great when you realize what it tries to deliver! This is by no means a poor game. No gta-clone!
Technically it deserves a 7.5 but overall I give it a 9. THE GOOD: Detailed graphics, nicely modeled characters. A compelling story. Lots of humor! Rich gameplay, plenty to do, plenty of exploring but not mandatory. T... Read Full Review
