Fans of gory action will likely get a kick out of The House of the Dead: Overkill.
Finding a shooter on the Wii that isn't terrible is like finding a needle in a big pile of haystacks. Praise the gaming deities because now we have House of the Dead: Overkill. It's a shooter that's very much a throwback... Read Full Review

The only important question about this game is…. Is it too short, or just too easy?
I mean seriously …. Only seven levels…. That last for 10 minutes each… if that's not a rental I wonder what is…. Anyway as always let's see the pros cons… Pros: -humour: the game makes up for it's short lent with... Read Full Review

Good game leaves me with a fun experience, but wanting just a little more... *Not for children.*
Other reviews have gone over the game in detail, so I'll keep this short. BOTTOM LINE: I like this game, and I think it's important to purchase so devs and publishers see that Wii owners are willing to pay for matur... Read Full Review

Easy to pick up and enjoy. Would defiantly recommend it if you like classic arcade shooting games.
Alright, I'll be honest, I beat the game in about an hour and a half, maybe not even, but the game is very fun, and I have played it through a couple of times after that. The story line is hilarious, the game play... Read Full Review

Love playing shoot'em up Zombie...I mean mutant games. This is fun love the old Skhool music.
I love playing shoot-em up games. So I am grateful for the HOD series. This game is better the the others. I could do without the tons of F bombs. But it makes you laugh. Grain graphics gives it a Grind House look.Fans o... Read Full Review

If you can overlook the gratuitous swearing and cakewalk, this stylistic, over-the-top rail gun shooter is loads of fun.
The House of the Dead OVERKILL! is a 1970s B-movie style rail-gun shooter. By that I mean, you will notice the scratches on the screen as if you're watching a movie projector from the 1970s. It has 70s style music alon... Read Full Review

If Samuel L. Jackson was a game, he'd be this.
SEGA is really pushing for the hardcore Wii market in 2009 with Madworld (looks fantastic but may be repetitive), Sonic and the Black Knight (inevitably terrible) and The Conduit (generic beyond belief) all geared toward... Read Full Review
