Tecmo Super Bowl III: Final Edition Cheats For Super Nintendo

1. Hall of Fame players unlocked

   Win 3 straight Super Bowls with the same team. When you enter the 4th season have trade mode on. Now you can sign hall of fame players from the free agent pool.

   Beat the Super Bowl 3 times in a row to get the credits and a better ending.

3. Fumble Glitch

   While there is no specific way to cause this, the glitch happens when a player recovers a fumble immediately after it starts when the player is on defense. More specifically, if the ball doesn't touch the ground, but rather goes directly to the player-controlled defensive player, the ball still technically belongs to the other team and where you get tackled affects where the opposing team's offense will continue their drive. If you get tackled before crossing your opponent's original line of scrimmage while running the correct direction, your opponent will still end up with a net gain in yardage. If you pass the line but get tackled before you reach the endzone, your opponent will end up losing yards. The best thing you can do it run like you are trying to get a touchdown and get tackled in the endzone, resulting in your opponent getting safetied and your team earning 2 points for the safety instead of 6 for the touchdown (and another 1-2 after the PAT or 2-point conversion). If you do not reach the endzone, the next play will show another sign of the glitch. Since your opponent will retain control despite the fact that your team recovered the ball, when you change which player you control, the screen will shift up and down. Additionally, you will be able to see which receiver the opposing team is attempting to throw the ball to, which is indicated by the arrow icon above the player. If you really want to have fun with the glitch, run the wrong direction as soon as you realize you have recovered the fumble immediately. This will result in a net gain or even a touchdown for the opposing team if you make it to the endzone.
