A stripped off depth in strategy of a game that should have been better.
I played both Supreme Commander and throughly enjoyed the first game for it's depth of strategy as well as a great variety of units(both air, naval and land). However, there were also some limitations in the first game, ... Read Full Review

If only they called it something else...
To start off I have to say that I am a big supreme commander (SC), SC: Forged alliance (FA) and total annihilation (TA) fan. I followed SC2 development since it was announced and of course had high expectations. If on... Read Full Review

It's Supreme Commander... stripped down into paper-thin strategy, and complexity.
Remember the first SupCom? Remember how big and massive the game used to be? Gargantuan battles that made a difference, air fights with fleets the size of Washington to Chicago, and maps that dwarfed any strategy game to... Read Full Review

Do not buy this if you really enjoyed the first SupCom, because it will disappoint you.
First off I was going to give the game a lower score, but because there are people who never played SupCom before or weren't able to ( high system requirements of SupCom1) I gave it a 5.5 . The reason for this is, is ... Read Full Review

As a single player game, it is better than the original. The changes are good, the game is fun, not a clickfest anymore
I understand that lots of hardcore funs of the game are disappointed. The game did lose some unique things that requires extra skills. But in my opinion, those skills were not related to tactics or strategy, but more lik... Read Full Review

Over simplified to accommodate the XBox360 - more Subordinate Captain than Supreme Commander
Supreme Commander has always been about large epic battles with the possibilities of huge scale, and giving you the tools to manage those battles. SupCom2 is more focused upon quick combat, and sacrifices a lot to get t... Read Full Review

Expected more not less from Chris Taylor after 13 years making these things...
Very disappointing. As the spiritual successor to Total Annihilation, the Supreme Commander series have been somewhat of a let down. This just proves that yes, they can get it even more wrong than the first one! Don... Read Full Review

Nothing special - dissapointing - Only the setting and the title remains of the original.
It lacks everything that set SupCom1 apart from the rest of RTS. Sure its not very bad and I supose you could have fun in Multiplayer mode but, the economy is gone, the scale is gone, the depth is gone, unit variety is g... Read Full Review

Not so Supreme Commander
I admit I wrote another review of this game earlier that was kinder to this "supreme commander"-like game. After playing through the whole game and playing a great deal of skirmishes however, my final conclusions about t... Read Full Review
