Assault has it flaws but it is still a beautifully excellent Starfox game despite its minor issues.
Starfox is probably one of the most underrated franchises of all time. The original Star Fox on the SNES as well as Starf Fox 64 on the N64 were BOTH some of the best games on the surface of the earth, and Starfox Advent... Read Full Review

Dont try to fix something if it aint broken.
Starfox assault makes a very ambitious comeback with the spinoff and far from roots starfox adventures and tries to pick up from where both starfox 64 and dinosaur planet left off, both gameplay wise and storywise. in ga... Read Full Review

A fabulous story mode is only put down with its very short length. Addition of up to 4 player splitscreen helps.
Star Fox Assault, though a great game itself, had the potential to be a lot better, if not one of the best Gamecube games. Its obvious strength is its well-crafted story mode that features nice visuals, a good story, and... Read Full Review

They should have left Fox locked up in his Arwing and threw away the keys...
I will say it right now: I don't hate this game. I have always loved the Star Fox series for what it is: a space/aerial combat game with great gameplay mechanics and a lovable cast of wacky character. But what this serie... Read Full Review

Probably the most average game I have ever played. While not a bad game the on foot missions were not the greatest.
This game didn't look much better than Adventures did but my love for the Star Fox franchise won over my gut feeling witch was don't get this game it will disappoint you like the last game. And that it did. While the gam... Read Full Review

Its a good game. The on foot action is better if you change the control scheme. READ THIS IF YOU THINK ABOUT BUYING!!!!!
This overall is a good game. It does look good, the sound is mediocre, and if you tweak the controls a bit. The Single Player game is short, but has replay value. You can go back and try to get higher scores and ther... Read Full Review

This was a good game, but the campaign was extremely short. I easily beat it in 2 hours.
This game reminded me of Starfox 64. It was a fun game that was better than Starfox Adventures, in my opinion. However, the game was rather short and the ending didn't make much sense. Everyone was suddenly OK. Peppy was... Read Full Review

Old school Star Fox vs New school Star Fox.
What I mean by my display is that you get both of how Star Fox is play. In the air is old school because you know every game before Adventure was in the air and the new school is by foot. I first played this game I rent... Read Full Review

Not a bad game but previous Star Fox games were better.
Star Fox is back but not the way they used to be. I like the concept but it could have been better. Star Fox Assault takes place a few years after the events of Star Fox Adventures. A new threat has occurred and you as F... Read Full Review
