While its still a fun game, especially for fans, were it not for its flaws it could have been so much better.
Star Fox Assault's goal was to go back to the traditional style of Star Fox that many know and love. For the most part, it delivers on this promise pretty well. However, there are some problems that prevent it from being... Read Full Review

Should have been so much more.
I was but a wee kid when I first played starfox 64... and I must have spent thousands of hours on it. I got every medal, completed and accomplished every mission and killed my friends in the multiplayer countless times. ... Read Full Review

Good, But Rent Before Buying.
This game has a very fun single player portion, but it is too short and very easy. You can replay the game at a higher difficulty which adds to the replayablity. The flying portions of the game were just like the Star Fo... Read Full Review

Even though it doesn't live up to the N64 version, it is still a great game.

Assault had a big name to live up to. Sadly, with odd ground controls during on foot mission, and a lack of story mode..
Starfox Assault is somewhat of a sequel to the classic Starfox 64 for the Nintendo 64. A game originally based on all flight based combat, un-spreads its wings and adds more Land-Master missions, and all new ground missi... Read Full Review

a Great addition to the series!!11
This game is amazing. Don't believe what everyone else says that it is a bad game. The ending was a little lame since you never find out about anything that happens to star wolf. It is a very fun game and no matter if yo... Read Full Review

Could have been so much more. Good start, 70% bad middle, decent end. It's too bad the last few missions are fairly good
This was one of the games I had bought my gamecube for way back when the gamecube was released. I was waiting for a real (emphasis added) starfox game. It's a shame this game looks, feels and plays like it was rushed o... Read Full Review

Finally the Fox is back. And Nintendo's got him.
You know, with all the reviews and scores below the 7.5, it's really hard for others to appreciate the game before the buy it, because of the mixed reviews that this really good game receives. It's simply Star Fox, an... Read Full Review
