Socom returns to the PS3 with all the tactical action you come to expect from the series.
Socom has been a staple in the Playstation brand since the dawn of the PS2. Many renditions have been made of Socom between the main titles on PS2, to the Fireteam Bravo/Tactical Assault entries on the PSP. They have e... Read Full Review

Excellent, if perhaps a little big dated feeling. A few gameplay quirks and a dated feel to the engine hold it back.
SOCOM 4 is thoroughly solid. -The campaign lasts roughtly 8-10 hours with a good variety of missions, it probably takes alot longer on Elite Difficulty where you die in 1 or 2 shots. -The story was fairly impressive,... Read Full Review

Call of Duty: 3rd Person
Feels, plays, and boring just like CoD games, NOTHING at all like the original Socom 1 or 2. Why they call this Socom is a mystery. Barely any stealth, cover system is weak, no pistols, CPU team mates are worthless, CP... Read Full Review

with Playstation Networks being down, SOCOM 4 MP looks sad, while singleplayer is a mixed bag
I don't have the baggage of past SOCOMs so I didn't have any expectations of how the game should play or look like. Being primarily a PC gamer when it comes to everything but racing games, SOCOM 4 looked promising but ev... Read Full Review

Single player is one of the best first person shooters out ever. Multi-player is very addictive with great graphics.
With just a few fixes needed this will be the best Socom ever. On-line playing is very addicting and intense, just a couple of issues regarding the camera views being absent from previous titles and some more DLC classic... Read Full Review

Socom: Special Forces. A indept review of a outstanding game that really hits the spot for me. Tactics are key in Socom.

The worst Socom ever, and a disgrace to armed forces everywhere. They should remove "US Navy Seals" from the cover.
Let me start off by saying my first experience with Socom 4 was in the Private Beta. I tested a ton of things, and left a lot of feedback on the official forums. None of the feedback I left was addressed and I would be... Read Full Review

Everything and More u'd expect from the Franchise, Zipper stepped it up and made a game that really captures your time.
I've been playing socom since S1 and this one still feels like socom! Whether your a veteran or someone new, this game has a lot of new features that bring it up to par with the new shooters. Unlike the former Confront... Read Full Review
