For this, you'll need to have a Pokemon that came through Pokemon Bank from the 3DS Virtual Console release of Pokemon Silver. Visit the Game Freak building in Heahea City and speak with Morimoto, and he'll recount the development cycle of Pokemon Gold and Silver. Though he's never named explicitly, it is believed to refer to Satoru Iwata, a late developer who was very influential in the games' development. For the curious, Morimoto says:

"Boy, when we were told halfway through development to make Kanto, too... I thought I might just expire on the spot! But I'm glad we made it that way. When we were having trouble fitting all the data in for Gold and Silver, and we were really in a pinch, this amazing guy came along and made a program for us that solved all our problems. He went on to become the amazing president of a real big company soon after that, too."

Fly to the Lake of the Sunne, and enter the temple you find there. Once you are inside, walk down the long hall and exit to the rear courtyard (Make sure you have Solgaleo in your party). Once outside, approach the platform you see ahead. This will trigger a short cutscene, causing Solgaleo to come forth from its ball, and roar toward the sky. After a few moments, Lunala will appear. After a brief moment, Lunala roars to the sky and disappears. After a few seconds, a Cosmog wiil appear. Interact with the Cosmog and it will join your team.
