The first and most immersive RPG game I've ever played in the Gameboy.
This was the very first RPG game I've played in the gameboy and found it one of the best. Of course, comparing this game with today's games, this would totally suck. But during its days, it had all the aspects of a perfe... Read Full Review

For a "kiddie" game about pet animal fighting, it is a surprisingly deep RPG.
Okay, this game was a little past my time, in 1998. My younger siblings got into it a bit more, but I managed to play the first game (both red and blue editions) through. My collection of pokemon was pretty big, and I ... Read Full Review

Greatest and hardest Pokemon game that I have ever played.
I first got this and Pokemon Blue at the same time as the first video games for my GameBoy so it's been a long time since I last played them. And this is a review of both games too. Now, in my opinion, of all the Pokem... Read Full Review

GRAPHICS: 7.5 They were quite decent at he time, but some Pokemon barely represent what they are supposed to be, like Koffing. The skulls on it are supposed to be under the face, not above it. They must have paid attent... Read Full Review

I know its old, But what a Game!
There really is no point in giving this game a review 12 years after it's release date, but as I came across this game today I could not leave it without saying a few words. This is the first game I got with my first... Read Full Review

PIIIIKKKAAAACHUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe it's because I grew up with this game, but this game never gets old. At the age of 18, I am still a huge fan of pokemon... I mean, I have a collection. And maybe this makes me a little biased to this game, but I... Read Full Review
