good signature move ,good goaler saved but less graphic engine .The Graphic of 2k7 is way better....2k sports always tried something better but this game might be classic if they were put more animation and Long Stanley ... Read Full Review

2K7 with a roster update pretty much.

Your game play is all mostly the same, you have same movement, shot types, the commentators have about five new lines so it is 2k7. The Star Stick combo thing is great, but after the deke the puck just goes right off the... Read Full Review

Still a great game and improved since last year

NHL 2K8 is still a great NHL game and much more improved since last year in the sim department. First off the controls: the "pro-stick" which allows you to basically move the puck from side to side or front to ... Read Full Review

Good game, better than other current hockey games out there, but be prepared to learn some controls.

Other hockey games like EA's releases to date have never really had a good feel to them, your player seems to be attached to a pole and only skates in 4 directions. NHL 2k8 is much more fluid control and better control ... Read Full Review

What are you people talking about?

it does grow on you if you let it

I spent some time with this game (NHL2K8) as I do own both NHL 08 and 2K8. I gotta say I was ready to throw this one back. Until I decided to spend a little more time getting to know it. I don't feel it moves as smooth a... Read Full Review

Basically the same game, not any significant changes, good realistic game overall

Well, almost nothing changed in the actual game play iv played over 150 games of the NHL 2k7, and about 10 games of the 2k8 same few glitches are there, same graphics, same player motions and goalie animation. The only... Read Full Review
